Long Day -8 x 11" graphite on paper
I had a long day. Actually, make that a long two days. I spent most of the rainy drive home tonight thinking about what to draw. I flashed back to a wonderful child hood memory of buying paté with my mother. But as the drive drew long, a nice bottle of wine to unwind popped in the head and that is what I’m sitting here drinking. I rarely have alcohol and when I do it usually involves a great pate, cheese and crackers – none of which I remembered to buy. I did however, pair this wine with a phenomenal meat loaf sandwich. Now that is a nice way to unwind after a long couple of days.
That’s cool, Brit! Some wine after a busy, rainy day is perfect. Tomorrow night, how about a pizza?
I think it’s great that you’re doing this. I imagine it’ll really get the creative juices flowing. Go, juices!
