The Weekend

I love the weekends.  I love the open air, the grass, the road, the trees, the breeze, and all that time for myself and Steve.  On our first date we took the metro down to hear a band on the National Mall.  He won me over when he asked if we could walk back.  It was about 6 miles of green grass, trees, the river, the canal and the bridge.  I am hopping the weather will hold out and we can do an overnight to a gardens and bed and breakfast this weekend.  Spending the day out in the grass and just wandering while holding hands.  I haven’t been to this garden yet but I have great expectations.  Tonight I drew my own open space with a nice road for us to travel down.  It may have to suffice if it rains.  If not, maybe we’ll pass it along the way.
