Portrait in B

Today I took a break from the  experimental portraits to have some more relaxing fun that is just me.  This work would be scored in B on the Piano.   As I’ve been thinking and over-thinking new ideas with my line and spatial separation I’ve had little time to just relax.  Today was an hour just for me.  This isn’t a sketch, it’s a final work.

Unfortunately I managed to wrinkle the paper in the lower left corner while shading.  My pencil caught the edge and brought up right up into a little ball.  Well, these things happen.  I can’t wait to get back to more art like this, but I do have to keep working through more ideas.
