Firebird Suite
When I was five, six and seven I had a little portable record player. There were ony two records that I wanted to play on it. One was Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite, which was played into oblivion as I danced around gleefully. The other was Chopin’s Mazurkas, which my mother would only allow me to borrow as long as she set it up on the player and I only was able to hear it once through each time she let me play it. I was thinking about those lovely days today and drew this, Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite.
