What Not

I’ve been a bit under the gun with deadlines and client work for the past couple of weeks and thus have not had a full drawing session in some time.  Today’s sketch developed from the simple lure of self entertainment.  The work began with no particular destination… just a collection of what nots and the graphite journey along the way.  I suppose I’m still in need a bit more downtime : )  But alas I don’t have any… the next projects await.  I was hoping to enjoy the Calder exhibit tomorrow but I have client work ahead that needs to wrap up.  I rather like this one.  I decided to pencil it as though I were painting.  I should be doing them all like this.
