A Long Shot

One of the great possibilities that can manifest itself in competition of any kind is the long shot. It doesn’t just figure in the event itself, It’s the configuration of how one gets themselves to that very moment.  It’s the manifestation of the journey itself, its diversions, wide off-kilters and smooth swings back.  The long shot is a beautiful thing and all one has to do to have the chance at getting there is simply hanging on.
